Quantcast is hiring a Strategic Insight Lead to join the Audience Intelligence & Measurement team (AIM) in the US.

We have created one of the world's largest, living data-sets and we use it to bring unparalleled relevance to online advertising. By utilizing technology and big data to understand digital audiences, Quantcast solves the biggest challenges in marketing.
As a Strategic Insights Manager, you will work with Quantcast’s unique, proprietary data to surface actionable audience and campaign information for our most important clients. You will partner with members of Quantcast’s sales team, making recommendations and delivering audience and campaign insights which enable our customers to make important strategic decisions about their marketing campaigns and which deepen their relationship with Quantcast.

  • Manage end-to-end audience and industry vertical research projects from understanding client objectives, designing research, data collection, optimization, to analysis. This will mostly involve working with clients and advertising agencies and helping to drive media plans for clients and pre-planned media plans for events based advertising.
  • Formulate findings and recommendations based on different data sources available for analysis
  • Visualize findings in the best possible way to story-tell insights derived from the plethora of data made available to you
  • Present research findings to client and explore other opportunities and areas of interest for future studies
  • Serve as a champion for Quantcast’s data and differentiating the unique value our data and insights bring to clients
  • Act as a research consultant for our clients by understanding their business needs, and recommending the best audiences and appropriate budgets to help them achieve their KPIs
  • Oversee deliverable assigned across different clients and ensure quality output in terms of analysis, finding insights, and produce high-quality reports on audience behaviors, user segments, and audience performance/growth opportunities
  • Manage business priorities and revenue targets from research offerings to ensure overall growth of the company
  • Work with the Head of Audience Insights & Intelligence as well as sales and marketing stakeholders to support key client projects
  • Establish self as a thought leader in the programmatic space, as well as contribute to thought pieces for the company’s content
  • Passionate about programmatic media and would love exposure to a plethora of clients (agencies and direct)
  • An excellent communicator with solid presentation skills who can easily partner across internal and external stakeholders
  • Multitasking professional who enjoys working multiple project streams at a time - each project includes understanding the client’s objectives, audience development, designing the research methodology, data analysis, and report presentation
  • Work autonomously to identify & extract data needed for key client projects
  • Present audience/industry data and insights in a compelling and easy-to-digest fashion for a non-technical audience
  • Attend client and agency meetings, representing and presenting Quantcast’s unique insights as needed
  • In-depth knowledge of audience development, analysis methodologies and have a good business sense with experience in consultative ‘selling’ through data-led insights
  • Someone who relishes in using data to build a story to help drive sales
  • Experience using data to curate and craft recommendations tailored to our client’s needs
  • In particular, audience data (ex: DSPs, DMPs, gathering insights from leveraging & aggregating 1P, 2P, 3P data) and desk research across marketing research sources
  • Experience with marketing research tools like Mintel, MRI, Google Trend/Keyword
  • 10+ years experience in digital advertising/media industries with specific focus on audience research and analytics
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of online ad campaign metrics and analysis, online advertising industry trends, technologies and pricing models (CPM, CPC, & CPA) as well as ad serving technologies (ex: DoubleClick, Flashtalking)
  • Highly proficient with Excel – complete ease with Pivot Tables and advanced functions
  • Basic SQL skills a huge plus
